My art revolves around turning cast-off goods into new and beautiful items, giving a second life to common items.  Up-cycling broken china and glass into one-of-a-kind jewelry, or stitching second had clothing into a more interesting and personal garment is a fun way to keep items in circulation and out of the landfill.  I use vintage buttons, beads, fabric, broken jewelry and a wide variety of other items that I thrift, salvage and receive as donated in order to create something unique and useful. My inspiration comes from the items themselves and from the wonderful environment of the North Shore.
